(First Unit Production)

Scott Howe - Writer/Producer/Director

Scott Howe has been interested in films and filmmaking since he was little. As an adult, he has produced industrial videos and, more recently, TV spots for cable TV in Sacramento. He is an award-winning graphic designer and creative director by profession, a musician, and an occasional blogger on the paranormal in Sacramento. Last summer, Scott wrote, directed, and scored "The Trade," a featured entry in the 2006 10x10 Film Festival.

Joaquin Murrieta - Director of Photography

Robert Seastrom - Lighting Design Consultant

He brings with him a wealth of digital lighting and lighting design knowledge that shall prove invaluable on this project.

Angela Ortner - Editor

Angela Ortner has worked on the crews for over 20 independent shorts in various capacities including writer, producer and director. Most recently, she wrote, produced, edited and co-directed the independent film, "El Dinero Robado." Her work has appeared in Access Sacramento's "A Place Called Sacramento," competition, the Sacramento Film and Music Festival, the Sacramento International Film Festival, and the California Film Festival. In addition, Angela competed in the 2007 Sacramento 48-hour film festival.

Paul Nicknig - 1st AD

Paul Nicknig was a film major in college and wrote, directed and produced several short films before working for a few years in Hollywood. Then, in Paul's words, "it was time to get a real job."  During his stint in Hollywood he worked on a few feature films, TV shows, TV commercials, film property/marking houses (cut theatrical trailers, TV and radio spots) and shot art projects for local theatre/dance companies.  It was a tremendous ride, highly educational, rewarding, but unfortunately it was hard to sustain a normal life style with a predictable income. He moved back to Sacramento and started his career in information technology which has been very good to him for the past 17 years. "Kindred" marks Paul's entry back into filmmaking.

Steven Fong - Production Assistant

Steven Fong is an incredibly talented graphic designer by profession. His other talents, however, range from photography, to web design, to flash animation, to programming and computer consulting. His obsession with taking his every responsibility much too seriously makes him perfect for the role of Production Assistant.

David Pace - Production Assistant

David Pace has written, directed and edited several short movies and dozens of very short movies since the age of 12. He is interested in further pursuing film in college.

Andrew Howe - Production Assistant

Andrew Howe is young, but already experienced in the wide world of media. In high school, he was a part of an animation class, in which he directed and animated no fewer than three short films. Andrew's many talents are not limited to film, however. He is an accomplished artist, drawing every chance he gets, he is able to code websites, photoshops like no tomorrow, and, when he's in the shower, he isn't half bad at singing. When not dabbling in the arts, he prides himself in being a world leading kaijuologist, studying the giant monsters that plague the world in search for a cure.

Ana Feliciano - Script Supervisor

Working for an investment firm has made Ana Feliciano a very detail-oriented person; perfect for the job of script supervisor. However, viewers of My58 may recognize Ana Feliciano from her stint as a 2006 "My58 host Hunt" finalist. Out of a pool of 500 contestants, Ana made it all the way to the final two. In addition to her TV hosting adventures, she has worked in commercials for KQCA, and Denio's, and has acted in a variety of Educational and industrial videos for UCD Med School and CalTrans. Ana is also part of a local Sacramento dance team.
